Organization: The Association of Civic Ensembles (ACES) is committed to the support and development of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and its nationally renowned Civic Youth Ensembles training program.

As a partner with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, ACES seeks to:

BUILD SUPPORT FOR THE DSO
Our vision is to develop and sustain the long-term support of the DSO and its mission. In training hundreds of musicians each year, the DSO is simultaneously cultivation future music lovers and potential DSO supporters. We are designing supporters for the future.

GROWTH OF ENSEMBLES
ACES has a simple strategy: If the DSO is willing to grow the Civic Youth Ensembles program, ACES will fund and support the expansion. During the past seven years, the ensembles program has grown by a multiple of ten. Over 500 students are trained each week under the guidance of a world-class symphony orchestra and world-class artists and teachers. ACES proudly supports 10 diverse ensembles that have been nationally recognized as some of the leading training programs in the United States.

ENHANCE OUR COMMUNITY
Our vision is to enhance the lives of families, neighborhoods, schools and cities through great music! The Civic Youth Ensembles program offers a world-class music program to all children and families from the Southeastern Michigan region. We are truly changing lives through music!
