| Bob Smith ('01 Alum, flute) is in Cairo, Egypt doing and internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers for the summer. He has enjoyed her time in the U of M flute studio and orchestra, but will concentrating his studies on economics in the fall. |
Yuriy Leonovich (2002, Cello) I am graduating Cleveland Institute of Music with an MM in
Cello Performance, and going on with my DMA at the same institution under the instruction of Stephen Geber. |
| Carly Hanna (2009, Viola) Carly Hanna is a Communicative Sciences and Disorders major at
Michigan State University. She spent two years in the MSU Philharmonic
Orchestra and plans on spending the summer in London studying Audiology
and Speech Science. |
| Marie Trudeau (2003, Oboe) In the fall of 2007, I will begin my masters at the Cleveland
Institute of Music. I will miss Civic and cherish the memories I made
there in my three years as a member. |
| Melissa Merritt (Violin) Music - mostly on hiatus, dabbling here and there, might go for a music minor or double major
Otherwise, I'm an aerospace engineering major at the university of michigan, and licensed pilot. |
| Michael Walle (Trombone) I was in the original Sinfonia before the Phil (02-03, 03-04), and
then Phil for a little (04-05), and last year I played second
trombone Civic.
I'm going to be a freshman at U-Mich with a major in trombone
performance this fall. |
| Timothy Liu (2008, Violin) I will attend Columbia University in the fall to major in
Economics, but will remain active in music through the Columbia Symphony
Orchestra and private lessons at the Teachers' College. |
